Annwyl Deuluoedd,

Mae’n anodd credu bod 12 wythnos wedi bod! Rydym yn mynd i golli eich plant pob dydd yn yr uned!

Uchafbwyntiau Amser Ein Plant yng Ngharreg Lam

A dyna ni! Mae amser y plant yng Ngharreg Lam wedi dod i ben. Hoffwn ddiolch o galon i’r plant ac i chi fel teuluoedd am eich ymroddiad a brwdfrydedd. Rydym yn edrych ymlaen at gefnogi’r plant dros y misoedd nesaf yn eu dosbarthiadau prif ffrwd. I ddechrau'r wythnos roedd cyfle i'r plant ail-ymweld gyda'r thema'r synhwyrau a'r tymhorau. Roedd y plant wedi mwynhau cyfle i baentio'r dail ar y coed a disgrifio beth sydd yn digwydd i'r dail yn ystod pop tymor. Roedd defnyddio'r pwll o beli hefyd yn hwylus er mwyn chwilio am odrifau ac eilrifau. Ar ei diwrnod olaf, roedd y plant wedi mwynhau sesiwn canu gyda Mr Beecham, creu llyfr sy'n dathlu ei chyraeddiadau ieithyddol ac roedd cyfle i ddylunio anifail diddorol hefyd. Roedd y plant i gyd wedi mwynhau.

Mae nifer iawn o uchafbwyntiau ers i’r plant dechrau gyda ni ym mis Ionawr. Hoff atgof Mrs. Soper i oedd gweld cyffro'r plant ar bob trip a deall bod yr iaith yn gallu pontio tu hwnt i waliau Carreg Lam. Hoff atgof Miss Stokes oedd cwrdd â phlant newydd a gweld hyder y plant yn datblygu wrth ddefnyddio'r iaith.

Dyma beth ddywedodd y plant am eu hoff atgofion: 

Layne - Fy hoff atgof yw coginio crempog achos roedd e'n blasu'n felys.

Gwilym- Fy hoff atgof yw'r seremoni graddio achos roedd pawb wedi dathlu fi yn llwyddo.

Elliot - Fy hoff atgof yw mynd i'r parc achos ces i hwyl.

Toby- Fy hoff atgof yw bowlio gyda ffrindiau achos ces i lawer o hwyl.

 Ifan- Fy hoff atgof yw peintio achos roedd e'n hwyl.

Louis - Fy hoffa atgof yw pryd es i i'r caffi achos roeddwn i'n hoffi'r siocled poeth.

Lydia - Fy hoff atgof yw mynd i Sain Ffagan achos dysgais sut i olchi dillad amser maith yn ôl.

Hardy - Fy hoff atgof yw pryd es i i'r parc achos chwaraeais gyda Toby ar y siglen

Morgan - Fy hoff atgof yw coginio pitsa achos roedd e'n flasus.

Sophia - Fy hoff atgof yw Dwr Cymru achos rydw i wedi dysgu amdan dŵr glan a dŵr budr.

Cai - Fy hoff atgof yw mynd i'r parc achos chwaraeais ar y chwyrligwgan.

Hoffwn ddiolch o galon i’r plant ac i chi fel teuluoedd am eich ymroddiad a brwdfrydedd. Rydym yn edrych ymlaen at gefnogi’r plant dros y misoedd nesaf yn eu dosbarthiadau prif-ffrwd.

It's hard to believe that there 12 weeks has gone by! We are going to miss your children every day in the centre!

Highlights of Our Children’s Time at Carreg Lam

And that's it! The children's time at Carreg Lam has come to an end. I would like to thank the children and you as families from the bottom of my heart for your dedication and enthusiasm. We are looking forward to supporting the children over the coming months in their mainstream classes. To start the week there was an opportunity for the children to revisit the theme of the senses and the seasons. The children enjoyed the opportunity to paint the leaves on the trees and describe what happens to the leaves during each season. Using a ball pit the children enjoyed searching for odd and even numbers. On their last day, the children enjoyed a singing session with Mr Beecham, creating a book that celebrates their linguistic achievements and there was also the opportunity to design an interesting animal. All the children had great fun.

There have been many highlights since the children started with us in January. Favourite memory of Mrs. Soper was that it was great to see the excitement of the children on each trip and to understand that the language can bridge beyond the walls of Carreg Lam. Miss Stokes' favourite memory was meeting new children and seeing the children's confidence develop when using the language.

Here's what the children said about their favourite memories:

Layne – My favourite memory is cooking pancakes because it tasted sweet.

Gwilym- My favourite memory is the graduation ceremony because everyone celebrated me succeeding.

Elliot - My favourite memory is going to the park because it was fun.

Toby- My favourite memory is bowling with friends because I had a lot of fun.

Ifan- My favourite memory is painting the leaves on the trees because it was fun.

Louis - My favourite memory is when I went to the café because I liked the hot chocolate.

Lydia - My favourite memory is going to St Fagans because I learned how to wash closes a long time ago.

Hardy - My favourite memory is when I went to the park because I played with Toby on the swing

Morgan - My favourite memory is cooking pizza because it was delicious.

Sophia - My favourite memory is Welsh Water because I learned about clean water and dirty water.

Cai - My favourite memory is going to the park because I played on the roundabout
